Thanks for the article on Frank Catapano, one of the most unique and colorful people you could ever meet. We treasure our long-time friendship with Frank, his late-wife Terry and all of their off-spring. It takes awhile to figure him out and you have to be ready for him to "tell it like it is" but his inner warmth, the love of a good argument and an exceptional (if not always subtle) sense of humor set him apart from most folks. We will NEVER forget the famed "stealth of night" Christmas statue wars.....

Question for Felger and Mazz show...
If you guys are able to remember ....
Do you guys think THIS years Bruins cup champ team could beat Bobby Orr's '72 Cup Champ team?
I say ORR in 6 games.......
What are your thoughts....I know the game is faster, but the 72 team was damn tough....and talented.

Just a fun hyperthetical question.
Thanks Sports Hub!

Hey Michael heard you ranting last week about how the bruins don't miss Marc savard. Don't you wish we had him on the half wall on the power play ? I know that i do. You may not miss him but real bruins fans do.

Interesting: http://www.bostonradiowatch.com is reporting that WAMG 890 will lose its ESPN affiliation on Monday--the same day ESPNBoston.com is to launch. No word yet on what station will pick up the affiliation. Supposedly farewell shows on ESPN 890 are being done today and workers were informed yesterday of a format switch (no idea yet to what format) and it's said the station's GM confirmed the move in an email. The 890ESPN.com site is now down.

ESPN has made a wonderful choice which they will be very happy with. Tedy embodies what the NFL and all pro sports is in desparate need of, a gentleman. I'm sure he will be a quick study and mix seamlessly into the role of commentator. The fans are the ultimate winners, being able to continue to watch and listen to a true all-star.
