The Sports Museum, a nonprofit museum located in Boston’s TD Garden, said today it has renewed its presenting sponsorship agreement with New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc.

Under terms of the agreement, Brighton-based New Balance will remain the presenting sponsor of The Sports Museum for the next three years.

Since 2006, The Sports Museum has doubled its annual revenues, developed and delivered an array of character education programs to thousands of kids in the Greater Boston area and, most recently, launched “Boston vs. Bullies,” a new anti-bullying initiative using current Hub athletes as role models to help stop bullying in Boston, officials said.

New Balance will also remain the presenting sponsor of the museum’s various events, including “The Tradition,” the annual fund-raising gala honoring Boston sports legends that takes place on the arena floor of the TD Garden. Honorees for this year’s Tradition will be announced shortly, officials said.

The footwear and sports apparel manufacturer is also serving as one of the lead sponsors of the Boston vs. Bullies initiative.
